I'm moving to Manhattan in January. I'm excited about living next to Central Park, making my own income, and painting on the side. I am sad about having weeks apart from Will and Doodle but we'll figure something out so that we're together all the time. I ask myself, but what is better than love? Why separate that much from my relationship and everything that's safe and familiar? Deep inside I know that I don't need to cross the country to Manhattan. But I can so I want to. I know that after everything I'll gain from this experience. Mostly I am going to make friends and connections. I'm creating a system of roots for my art. Everything will be great.
