Some bands start off very dull and mediocre. Their work is usually good, but nothing spectacular. Some bands evolve and really pop the third or second time around. This can also be applied to writers and painters. I calculated that it takes at least 20 years before a writer makes anything of merit and a painter at least 7. I've been painting over a year. I can hardly wait to see what I'll be doing in 7 years. I can hardly wait to see what I'll be doing when I finally blow up and combine everything I know with true imagination. I'm painting really good stuff but I know it will only get better. Why does life have to move so slow?! I want to see the future damnit!!!
